IMPACTability Partners with Bottomless Closet
IMPACTability is thrilled to announce our Referral Partnership with Bottomless Closet, a nonprofit organization that provides professional attire for women who are entering the workforce. They also offer resume help, interview prep, and a wide variety of professional workshops to give women the skills they need to land a job.
“This is a great opportunity for City University of New York (CUNY) college students with disabilities enrolled in IMPACTability’s CareerReady! Program to obtain five professional outfits, shoes, accessories, and additional training at no cost. This collaboration will empower the students we serve to project a professional image with confidence,” said Pam Judd, IMPACTability President. Find out more at www.bottomlesscloset.org.
ABOUT IMPACTability
IMPACTability’s mission is to fight for equal access to employment opportunities for college students with disabilities. Getting a job is hard. For college students with disabilities, it can be brutal. Their employment outlook is bleak: only 1 in 4 students obtain employment after graduating from a four-year institution. We empower students to break through workforce barriers through our intergenerational career readiness and mentoring certificate program CareerReady! From transferable life skills to acing the interview, we deliver a 10-week online program that motivates students, connects them with Mentors, and offers career preparation and resources to open doors to meaningful employment.
