IMPACTability Announces Grant Partnership
IMPACTability is the proud recipient of a $5000.00 grant by ADEPT, the Disability Employee Resource Group at www.Glassdoor.com. ADEPT (Advocates for Disability Education, Partnership, and Talent) was founded by Glassdoor employees in July 2021. ADEPT’s mission is to advocate for people with visible and invisible disabilities and create a safe and supportive environment through education, representation, and belonging. Speaking about the group’s generosity and expertise, President Pam Judd expressed, “It is an honor to be chosen by ADEPT’s leadership team.
We are thrilled to begin our collaborative partnership. Most of all, it’s a win-win for college students with disabilities.”
ADEPT’s principles are illustrated in their memorable logo. The solid green arc on the left represents visible disabilities, while the light-yellow arc on the right portrays invisible disabilities. The two sides come together to form a circle symbolizing inclusion and community. IMPACTability is delighted to join with ADEPT in elevating these principles in the lives of our students.
